Leadership Opportunities
Regional Leadership Conferences (RLC)
The Regional Leadership Conference (RLC) is held locally by each of our nine regions in Delta Chi. Our chapter is in the largest region, Region 8. Delta Chi's Regional Leadership Conferences develop leadership skills and provide members the opportunity to share ideas, achievements, and experiences with other Delta Chi chapters, officers, Regents, alumni, advisors, and Headquarters staff. The region's representative, or Regent, is also elected at its RLC. The cost of attending these conferences are typically covered by the chapter and all members are encouraged to attend.
Emerging leadership academy (ELA)
The Emerging Leaders Academy (ELA) is one of Delta Chi's newest initiatives. This interactive leadership experience is designed to enhance the personal and professional development of our members. Participants will develop greater understanding of who they are as a person and leaders, identify their leadership style, and learn how they can leverage their skills to positively impact the people and communities they are a part of.
ELA is geared toward rising sophomores and juniors. This program is typically held annually during the summer to ensure all those who wish to attend are able to.
International convention
The International Convention is Delta Chi's largest and most important gathering of undergraduates and alumni. Although the primary function of Convention is to conduct Fraternity business, it is also a time for our members and guests to reunite, network, and celebrate. During each Convention, Delta Chi offers a wide variety of personal and professional development sessions.
Nelli/Phelan Chapter Scholarship
This annual scholarship is available exclusively to Embry-Riddle Delta Chi Brothers. This scholarship is aptly named after late Brothers Patrick Phelan and Greg Nelli. Typical scholarship awards range between $1,000 - $3,000. Scholarship criteria include merit, need, and involvement in Delta Chi, on-campus, and in the community.
Having a named scholarship places the Embry-Riddle Chapter among the elite within the Fraternity. Only a handful of chapters possess the unique combination of longevity and stability, along with a devoted alumni base. The scholarship’s objective is to annually recognize brothers who share Greg Nelli and Pat & Susan Phelan’s lifelong dedication to Delta Chi and the University.
Ed & phylann fusco fellowship
Established in 2022, the Ed & Phylann Fusco Fellowship aims to send as many Embry-Riddle Delta Chi undergraduate members to leadership experiences like ELA, RLC, International Convention, and UIFI.
